Well we made it through another year! 2016 was an interesting one for me. I was in a car accident last year at this time, and much of this year was spent dealing with physical issues associated with it. I also had to keep my business going! It wasn’t easy, but being strategic, having goals, and making plans has made it so much easier.
Lately I’ve had a number of customers who are at capacity. They’re not sure they could handle more clients. Believe it or not, it’s the same solution whether you are very busy, or want to be very busy!
The best solution regardless of your goals is to be strategic.
This is the time of year to create your strategic plan and schedule for next year. Plan out the whole year with all your marketing activities including events and known opportunities. I like to use an Excel spreadsheet for my Strategic Marketing Schedule, and add the items to my Marketing Calendar (I have mine in Outlook and my Google calendar). This makes it almost effortless during the year.
